ACTIVITY
Eltra has been present in the industrial automation sensor market since 1985. In these 30 years the company has grown constantly by expanding its technological offer (over 5,000 unique codes and an average of 120,000 items produced annually), maintaining design flexibility over time and the production customization based on the specific needs of the Customer, which have always been distinctive characteristics of the Eltra brand. The company has a wide range of items in its catalogue (incremental and absolute rotary encoders, explosion-proof magnetic wire models, magnetic and optical linear measurement systems also operating with fieldbus, accessories for various applications, etc.), also offering its customers a design and development service for tailor-made models.
HISTORY
Like many other successful companies, Eltra began as a entrepreneurial dream started in a garage. But what initially was just a sort of an hobby, became rapidly a solid business project and in 1985 the company Eltra was formed and established in the current Sarego premises.
Since then Eltra has experienced a constant growth and development, both nationwide and abroad, that lead during the 2000’s decade to the establishment of two strategic branches in Slovakia and China.
In 2004 Eltra becomes a limited company and in 2008 joins Avago Technologies group, now a Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ:AVGO) group company, which contributes to extend its technological know-how and to consolidate its presence in the global market, without affecting although Eltra’s Italian identity and the quality trademark typical of the Made in Italy.
MISSION
Along its more than 30 years of activity, there have been many changes within (and outside) Eltra. The Company has however kept focused on the same purpose in the course of time: developing and manufacturing more and more innovative encoders, designed to meet the Client’s needs in terms of efficiency and quality, as well as of costs.
Eltra is aware that to reach this goal is essential to invest in the know-how and expertise of its human resources, the real heritage of the Company, thanks to whom the firm has kept on growing and improving for three decades by now.
HISTORY
Turck Banner S.r.l. was founded in 1996 to be able to give a concrete response to the growing demand from our customers in Italy to have increasingly better pre- and post-sales technical assistance on the Italian territory, in addition to the Company's desire to offer continuous improvement of marketing and sales services .
Since its foundation, Turck Banner S.r.l. has become noticed nationally for the high quality and reliability of all its products. The Company has also always stood out for the level of innovation which has found enthusiastic feedback from an ever-increasing number of customers, covering countless cutting-edge applications in the field of industrial automation.

Hans TURCK is a leading manufacturer of inductive and capacitive proximity sensors, connectors, cables, bus systems and RFID systems.
Banner Engineering is a leader in the production of photocells, ultrasonic sensors, optical products for safety, vision systems and wireless systems.

WHAT WE DO
Turck Banner S.r.l. is responsible throughout Italy for sales, marketing, distribution and technical support for both Turck and Banner products.
Turck Banner S.r.l. sells directly to end users and OEMs, covering a wide range of industrial sectors and applications, the largest of which are in the automotive, packaging, process control and machine safety fields.
On Italian territory Turck Banner S.r.l. also makes use of a widespread network of specialized distributors to be promptly present to its customers. For high-tech applications, Turck Banner has established partnerships with some specialized system integrators.
